TIN MAN REVEALS THE REAL SIDE OF UK TRAVEL FOR HAMPTON BY HILTON


Today Tin Man launches the first major campaign for Hilton.


Hampton by Hilton serves quality-driven and value-conscious travellers – it is very proud of what it stands for and offers visitors.

To drive relevance for the brand in the busy January booking period, we went beyond the functional benefits of the hotel and brought to life the more emotional moments that come from real travel experiences.

Following research showing 29% of consumers would prefer to see more every day, realistic depictions of travel and are seven times more likely to visit a destination after seeing authentic pictures, Tin Man appointed renowned documentary photographer, Ian Weldon, as the hotel’s ‘Realist in Residence’.

Over three days at a busy Hampton by Hilton in Edinburgh, Ian captured a collection of candid images of genuine hotel guests. The series, entitled ‘This Is Real Travel’, is designed to celebrate the often small yet special moments that take place in hotels and show that there is more to great travel experiences than sandy beaches and exotic sunsets.


To continue momentum throughout January, influencers will also be staying at Hampton by Hilton hotels, capturing content that shows what ‘Real Travel’ means to them.
