TIN MAN AND OH MY! CREATE A CHRISTMAS COMMERCIAL FOR BUYAGIFT

 

 The “oddvertising” campaign, created by Tin Man’s award- winning content agency, Oh My! comes less than two years since its launch.

Parent company Smartbox commissioned Oh My! to create a campaign to differentiate between their two hero brands: Buyagift and Red Letter Days. It has worked with Tin Man on PR campaigns for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day earlier this year.

Oh My! and Tin Man developed a creative which introduces a wonderfully quirky couple, Gerald and Sandra. Gerald gives his fiancé, Sandra, a Buyagift experience which will - quite literally - blow her away. Oh My! produced, scripted and shot the highly memorable ad, choosing a quirky and surreal style to show how Buyagift can make the everyday utterly fascinating. It closes with the catchphrase “Well done, Gerald”, which will be used across the wider communications campaign via the hashtag #WellDoneGerald. Gerald has done well. Very well indeed!

You can see it on TV until Christmas on Channel 4’s stable of channels and VOD, as well as Dave, W, Gold and Magic.
