TIN MAN FOUNDER NAMED IN WOMEN IN PR’S FIRST ‘45 OVER 45’

Mandy Sharp, Tin Man’s founder and CEO has been named in the industry's first list of outstanding women in comms aged over 45.  Women in PR’s list features the women inspiring the next generation of female leaders.

The list was created after WPR research revealed 34% of women working in communications have experienced workplace ageism and 52% of women under 50 don’t see themselves working in the same part of the industry when they reach 50.

Anna Geffert, President, Women in PR said: “Today is a bold celebration of age and experience amongst women within our industry, and we are very proud to be pioneering this movement. Our industry has been missing a trick when we focus just on youth. The 45 incredible female PRs represent all corners of the broad church within PR – and confirm that it is possible for women in our industry to carve out a long, stimulating and valuable career.”

Mandy Sharp, Founder & CEO, Tin Man said: “The most rewarding thing about running Tin Man is working alongside and being inspired by my team, many of whom are young and ambitious women building careers with enormous potential.  I am delighted to be mentioned alongside some of the most remarkable women in PR and I hope our stories will help bring more smart and hungry females into the industry.”
