To position Gumtree as thought leaders in recommerce and create data that can be drawn upon throughout the year, Gumtree commissioned a study of over 5,000 UK adults investigating the motivations, attitudes and behaviours driving the circular economy. 

The report delved into the financial (revealing that each of us could earn an average of £186 from something as simple as decluttering our homes), to the environmental (how trading our unwanted items can help save items from going to landfill) and the impact of community groups. Consumer champion Kate Hardcastle provided exclusive advice and insight to bolster the news sell in.
