We’ve enlisted Russ Cook AKA The Hardest Geezer (famed for running the length of Africa) to run the full length of New Zealand as his next challenge.
Russ will transform into ‘The Hardest Seeker’ as he seeks all the country has to offer, highlighting the beauty and breadth of the unique landscape through our content series and media programme.
The challenge will start in March 2025, with Russ tackling an ultramarathon every day as he navigates stunning and varied terrains—rugged mountains, lush forests, pristine coastlines, and vibrant cities.
Some highlights will include bungee jumping high off Auckland Harbour Bridge, the world-famous Canyon Swing in Queenstown and meeting locals to experience the true spirit of Manaakitanga, a Māori concept of the warmest welcome and hospitality.
